Leslie Lawrence from ISSS, based at UConn School of Law, attended the 2024 NAFSA Region XI conference, where she competed on a team of four and won the NAFSA Region XI Case Study Competition!

Their case study focused on creating a comprehensive strategy for internationalizing a fictional institution, proposing initiatives to boost study abroad participation, and identifying strategies to attract and retain international students.

As winners, Leslie and her team received complimentary registration to next year’s conference.
